Asprovalta Beach is a laureate of the prestigious Blue Flag award, which is granted only to top quality beaches in the European Union. Besides gold sands and crystal clear waters, Asprovalta Beach is surrounded by three mountains, which additionally contribute to its attractiveness. The beach is 200 meters wide and a couple of kilometers longer than you got used to, which prevents overcrowding even during the peak season. A myriad of bars, restaurants and confectionery shops can be found along the seaside promenade, and water sports enthusiast can find a variety of water sports on this exceptional beach.
This Blue Flag awarded beach is dotted with umbrellas and sun beds that can be used without a charge and the beach is exceptionally maintained. Nea Vrasna – Paralia (Beach) Vrasnon
Nea Vrasna beach is as wide as Asprovalta Beach and exceptionally long, giving you an impression that you have it only for yourself. Located only half a kilometer away from Asprovalta Beach, Nea Vrasna Beach features either sand or small pebble, depending on the spot. Nea Vrasna Beach is another laureate of the Blue Flag award of this exceptionally beautiful region of Macedonia. In the vicinity of the beach you can find numerous bars and restaurants, but few shops. Turquoise waters are deep and perfectly clear, and you can see the bottom of the sea even if you swim 30 meters away from the beach.
Nea Vrasna Beach is around 10 kilometers long, which makes it the longest European beach. It is maintained every day and you can find showers along the beach. Certain parts feature umbrellas and sun beds for rent, but you can choose to place your own on other sections of the beach. Note that in Nea Vrasna there is no gradual entry into the water, so make sure to accompany smaller children before they get used to the steepness. If you seek an engaging nightlife, you won’t find it at Nea Vrasna Beach, which is subjected to a peaceful family vacation.
